Two styles of yacht portrait are most sought after, lines profiles and oil
portraits.
Lines Profile. Using photographs and builder's lines drawings, the side profile of the yacht is depicted using computer graphics. The artist works with the owner to develop the configuration and elements desired such as sails, yacht name, owner's name, class and colors. The resulting portrait can be sized as desired and printed on a variety of archival media including canvas and watercolor paper.
Oil Portraits.
Classic brush and oils are used to capture a scene fulfilling the desire of
the requestor. Scene elements include the view of the yacht, specific
locations and sea & weather conditions. The resulting artwork is an
original oil painting that will bring a lifetime of pride to it's
owner.
